Lincoln University, Pa to Erie, PA 7.5 hour trip each way. The rods stayed super

“Added a SUMO carrier to my Land Rover Discovery for a steelhead trip on the Salmon River in early May. Over 4 days, we fished dozen of spots between Stanley and Challis - lots of road miles and taking the rods on and off the SUMO. It performed flawlessly - SUPER Convenient. Even at speeds up to 65 with two heavy steelhead rods on the carrier, there was no hint of anything getting loose. The suction works great - especially on my aluminum LR hood - and the pads and strapping held the rods securely and well protected. A great product that added convenience to the trip, and "Yes" we did catch some nice fish.”
